Welcome to 3D Printing – For Profit and Pleasure! I started this website to bring together the wealth of information, tips and tricks I’ve learnt over my time with my printers both in a professional and a hobbyist environment.
I first got in to 3D Printing in my day job, I am a design engineer by day and spend most of my time in SolidWorks designing various different parts and systems for machinery and automation companies. The company I work for decided to buy a 3D Printer one day and I was tasked with finding the best printer. It’s fair to say that from the moment I printed my first “benchy” I was hooked.
This website aims to be a wealth of knowledge in 3D Printing.
